“I’m Having a Hot Flash” is about becoming. It’s about that moment when everything inside you starts moving—your emotions, your memories, your dreams, your fears, and all the things you thought you had figured out. Sometimes life feels messy, unpredictable and completely out of control, but somewhere in all that beautiful chaos, something new begins to emerge.

When I created this piece, I wasn’t trying to make everything make sense—I was letting myself feel it. The explosive colors, the movement and the unexpected lines became a reflection of what it feels like to be fully alive. And honestly, it made me smile.

Because getting older doesn’t mean the fire goes away—it means you finally learn to embrace it. This painting reminds me that becoming who we are is never finished, and there is something incredibly beautiful about that.
